AOH Health Center, a non-profit based in Sheboygan, has opened a new medical center in Plymouth on Thursday, October 16, 2026.
Located in the Riverwalk Center at 515 E. Mill Street, Door B, the center will be open Tuesdays from 9am to 1pm and Thursdays from 1 to 5pm. The focus of services will initially be pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, and STD testing done by licensed medical professionals; all offered at no cost to patients.
The original AOH center in Sheboygan continues to offer services Monday through Friday, which makes it possible for those throughout the area to visit either location. The Sheboygan center additionally offers abortion pill reversal, well woman care, parenting classes, a boutique and community education.
An audit of how Anchor of Hope’s services are utilized revealed that 80% of potential patients would prefer to travel five miles or less. While patients are willing to travel as far as 50 miles to receive services, 91% of current patients are from a 25-mile radius. “These critical statistics made it clear that an expansion into the Plymouth area would be beneficial and allow us to serve an expanded geographic area to the west and north in Sheboygan County and beyond,” said Jacky Drewry, CEO/Director of Operations, for AOH.
Because of generous donors like Sargento, Sartori, Tietz’s Piggly Wiggly, Knights of Columbus Council #1789, Koinotita, Inc., Newmann Family Foundation, St. John the Baptist Parish, St. Thomas Aquinas Parish, and St. John the Baptist Christian Women have been key to the launch of this second pregnancy center. These businesses and more recognized the benefit of no-cost services to their employees and area residents and were instrumental in bringing the vision to reality.
An ultrasound is the only test to confirm a viable pregnancy which is critical to a woman making an informed decision. In support of the pregnancy test outcome, staff at AOH also offer information on all options.
The Knights of Columbus – Plymouth Council 1789 with members from Plymouth and Elkhart Lake recently donated the new ultrasound machine for this clinic.
AOH began in October 2013 as New Hope Pregnancy Center, Inc. The first center was opened in August 2015 in downtown Sheboygan. The licensed medical staff offers free pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, STD testing, and well woman care. Support staff offer community education and parenting classes. A boutique stocked with first year necessities, as well as a Little Free Library, provides key products for parents.
Financial backing for AOH services comes from individuals, businesses, and church partners throughout Sheboygan county. In addition to in-person services at two centers, they offer a 24/7 chat line.
